Camille Stochitch – Writer/Director

After graduating from the Sorbonne University in Paris, France three years ago with MAs in both English and Film, Camille started working as an assistant director on shorts, TV shows and commercials, but also as a script reader for French production companies. While studying at the Sorbonne, she co-directed a 26-minute documentary film which was later broadcasted on French cable TV. She then moved on to short fiction and directed LES GRANDS ESPACES in 2010, which was screened in several festivals in France. She is now a 2nd year directing student at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles and working on her thesis film.

Brett Myer – Producer

Brett is a graduate of Gordon College in Boston, with a BA in English Literature and a concentration in Creative Writing. He also has studied in London, Edinburgh and in San Francisco, where he served as an assistant to the director, working to develop his first feature film. Brett has also worked on set and in the production office assisting a variety of feature film sets and network television shoots, as well as assisting story producers on several reality shows.

Justin Kane – Cinematographer

Justin was born and raised in Northern California. After receiving his BA in Film from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2006, he moved to Los Angeles where he works as a cinematographer on narrative films and music videos. In 2010, Justin shot the short film A SUMMER HOME; an audience favorite for its strong visual motifs of nature, family, and self- recognition. In 2011, Justin shot WONDER VALLEY, a visceral short film that recently premiered at the Maryland Film Festival. Justin is currently studying for an MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute.

Franzis Muller – Editor

Franzis was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She earned her BA in Filmmaking from the Met Film School, based at Ealing Studios London. Whilst working toward her degree, Franzis developed a passion for the craft of Film Editing. She has since acquired an adept knowledge of the craft, editing a number of short and feature length films both documentary and fiction. She now resides in Los Angeles, studying her final year of an MFA in Editing from the American Film Institute.

Aashrita Kamath – Production Designer

Aashrita is a Production Designer based out of Los Angeles, CA. Prior to attending the AFI Conservatory for Production Design; she designed an independent short film, Seher Hone Tak (Till the Morning Comes). She also worked as a Set Dresser and Prop Master on various films and commercials in Mumbai, India. Aashrita loves creating immersive, believable worlds. She was the recipient of the Tom Yoda Scholarship Award at AFI. Interstate is one of her two thesis films and will be showing at film festivals in 2014.

Robert Phillips – Story Editor

Robert Phillips, a Los Angeles native, grew up in the San Fernando Valley and spent several years living in New York City.  He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in Literature and History and applying his understanding of storytelling to film.  Robert has written and directed several shorts in L.A. and N.Y., ranging from comedies to thrillers.  Additionally, Robert was a story development intern at Fox Searchlight and worked on feature films for Warner Bros. Studios and Lionsgate Pictures.
